Just had a new drive and like usual I cocked it up a bit. Had planned to put round floor lights at the front x4 of them. In the end it all come around a bit fast and the drive got built I was on night and missed the build. Well anyway for got to get the lights sorted. I'm sure it's not too harsh to pull them up to route the cables but a slight hassle now. Was wondering if x4 single solar lights would work. Has anyone done this or got any experience of this for some advice
    Thanks

I wouldn't bother with Solar units tbh not overly good and prone to faults at that size

Depending on length of run some 4 core 1.5/2.5 mm SWA is what you need laying from supply/switch point to an ip Box at the end of the drive

I.P. stands for Ingress Protection, in other words a Waterproof Junction box for ya Electrics.

No use to you now I know, but for anyone laying a driveway or other finished surface, always drop in a 2" duct as minimum with a drawstring in from one end of the building works to the other, costs feck all at the time and ya never know do ya!

Sadly it has already done with wireless chargers for mobiles etc, albeit it needs to be bloody close. If you want real power of distance then you can use lasers, might fry the neighbourhood cats though ;)
