Okay, okay! Here's just a snippet of what we've been up to, I'll try to do a write up when I have a bit more time. 25824[/ATTACH]
Ha! Looking at those recent photos it's not the type of holiday " I would have wished for" seems to be no biking and a lot of mincing .
don't worry all. when all the picks and vids and write ups are sorted by mr GB you will see what a amazing time we had on and off the bikes the roads we hit and the scenery we saw and the good CRACK we had still hasn't snuck in yet and its back to work tomorrow lets put it this way if we could start again tomorrow I would
Don't even know where to start.... If I'm honest this is probably the least photographs I've ever taken on a trip, however just dragging the data or Darta off the lap top of the GoPro I've over 400GB to sift through and take out some good bits to put a little taster together. I've even found some where we was actually riding the bikes. Guess that's as good a place to start
Craig really did miss his pies, in fact when I took him to the local market in Potes he followed his nose to this pie stall! Another pic of the "specialist beach" where a pretty young woman dropped her kecks in front of us and put on a thong!!! Yeah that was special alright!! The famous bronze stag at Riano And again but draped with dickhead Brit bikers!!!
just a small taster, sorry we seem to be the busy crew of late, up to my ears in profiles & support plans at present just pulled an hour to myself for the first couple of days
Well, I guess it’s time to step up to the plate & put my two pence worth in. Didn’t go mad on pictures this year but as said the Gopro got a bit of hammer so I’ll put a little bit together when I’ve had a chance to look around, but for now, let’s see what I can come up with. Sunday. As you all know every tour starts & it’s all about the vans. Repsolwill supplied Craig & myself a ford transit custom, cheers man a massive gesture. Here’s mine already to go #1 Getting to the services 100 miles out & we just have one final message for Alblade before we go off the radar for a couple of weeks. #2 The rest of the drive down the M5 was ok, although we did come across a couple of arseholes along the way.#3 Unloading at our “secret location” 6 miles out from Plymouth. #4 A final “goon” before hitting the night life below decks #5 Monday. Arriving in Spain we begin to decide if we’re taking a left or a right turn out of the docks, Craig really is now beginning to realise we don’t have a plan but is cool with it. We We head off on not to unfamiliar roads and hit the N-232 towards Embalsa de Ebro. A fantastic way to start the tour with some good sweepers. We called at the same spot for lunch as last time where the mad dog sat eating wasps This lad here #6 Through shyte translation we learned to poor thing got knocked down earlier in the year & had died. We aimed for Broto as our first night stop over but that was never a reality what with long stops & our chilled approach to touring, so we went and got to a place just outside Yessa just on the N-240. Yep it is a truck stop, the rooms we’re spot on for its 25 euros a night. Tuesday. Loading up ready for our full first days riding. #7 The locals can’t believe how Marques has let his self-go #8 Moving onto the N-260 a Coffee is never too far away “30 odd miles ithink” #9 We decide to head for an old favourite for dinner at Ainsa. #10
But disaster, along the way some homophobes have ripped down “Steve’s & my sign from last year” #11 Arriving in Ainsa a Wiganer gives his opinion on the food, fine dining it may be, but todays was shyte.#12 Undercooked #13 With the thoughts & fears of spewing in our lids we head off for our second & what became our third night in Spain at an old faithful Viehla. But before we reach our destination the BMW is finding it difficult to handle the pressure & decides to throw a fuel filling issue to deal with. #14 Whats missing? Screw? Hmm lets put it in the tank #15 Arriving in town we find a carnival in full swing, just as we arrive for a drink Givover was just leaving #16 Had a great night out and a race on the dodgems with some local kids, Jase Craig & I was well into the spirt of it all, while Steve made some phone calls. Wednesday. Heading out of town we decide to head off for sort. Ski resort#17 #18 #19 #20 Steve gets into the “swing”
I'll just tidy this day, & ill start again from Thursday. So, we left Sort & went for a blast along the N-260 to La Seu d'Urgell Awesome blast, & a lot of motorbikes heading that way, A few Brits & some four lads from Sweden? Got bunched up at some traffic lights and we’re off again, we soon dispatched the Brits & three of the Swedish but one particular guy was seriously hanging on, now I know we hadn’t pissed him off because we was making nice “ish” clean overtakes, as always I was last man, & I’ve got a guy on a Ducati Multistrada luggage up hanging out my arse at whatever pace I seem to do & every time I got a look he was smiling from ear to ear. Pulled into La Seu d'Urgell #24 And the rider came over & shook our hands & said thank you for the drag. But you know, I reckon he could have taken “well certainly me” at any time #25 15 minutes later his mates rolled up and with a cheery wave they we’re gone#26 Heading back the same way we arrived at the “swimming Lake” Where Jase was yet to take his dunk. #27 It was decided that a lot of weed was on the bottom & to be fair don’t think anyone really fancied it. So we all headed off back to Viehla for a second night sleep. TBC
