Arthur, I hope you look after your camera more than you do your screwdrivers.

Went with the Wife to visit her horse today. He's off to the vets on Monday and sadly may not make the journey back as they suspect he may have a growth on his spine :( So today was lots of photos day whilst the 2 of them played tag. Having taken more than a 1000 photos I luckily managed a few half decent shots, even the missus likes some of them which is a bonus if they do turn out to be photo memories.

Great shots there fella. Love the one of your wife sitting on the floor with their heads together. That would make a great shot cropped. Fingers crossed for you both that they just turn out to be shots of a great day and not the last day... :)

Thanks for the sentiment all. Poor fella has had a bit of a rough ride having being diagnosed with what is effectively arthritis when only 6 years old. Missus has nursed him back to reasonable health but wasn't able to ride him because of her own back problems. Then sod's law struck and he went lame just as she was well enough to ride him and was getting him back into work. We have fingers crossed fro next week but are not overly optimistic. Missus will be devastated as she got him at 2 years old, he is only 11 now, and he is a major character and has what the wife, and vet, calls attitude issues lol.

Christ you can see every little hair great detail. I must get my old Leica M4P with the Voigtlander 21mm F4 Lens and viewfinder Voigtlander VC 11 meter out of the shed and see what I can do.;)

Spot on Barney looks like a nice walk:D The Jack looks like he is enjoying it .Old brickwork / Bridges /tunnels always look good well photographed as they have lived through a hundred summers and winters and every brick can tell a story .
Next time your out see if there is an old mill on the canal that would be a great subject .
