LOL, its an Audi A5 turbo. Just added some huge 20in wheels as you know Arthur Had it remapped for an extra 70bhp and pushing over 305 torque. Got a Quad exit Milltek exhaust system currently being built. Loads of little extra bits coming over the next few weeks including a turbo upgrade, Stage 2 remap with all the bits needed, some cosmetic changes like a new RS5 grill etc. Never, ever been into cars but all of a sudden Im loving it. Even put a private plate on it lol Stands back and waits for the stoning lol Before During And after
Cheers. I went for the 2.0t instead of the bigger engines as I planned to do a fair bit to it and theres much more options for this. As stock the 2.0t is as quick 0-60 as the 3.2 but now Im quicker Plus its very economical when not in the boost, average 40+mpg on my daily commute and about 24mpg when having fun, and its fun for a daily big coupe weighing in at about 1.5t someone said?? Much better than my BMW 5 I had
All ya need now is a Parker a base Ball Cap facing backerds and U can start selling Drugs and sayin' innit a lot! Joking apart, Nice Wheels all round! I'm a bit partial to Chaving up Wifey's Merc much to her disgust!
Lovely mate and good choice with the smaller, lighter turbo'd lump! Get yourself the VAGCON lead and download the free Rosstech software so you can run your own diagnostics and see what's going on. I used to print off the report and take in for servicing so I didnt get the charge for the dealer doing it. Loads of little mods you can do like the Forge or Baileys piston diverter valves etc and they sound awesome with CAI systems
Yes mate get that beauty back on the roads, it's a shame otherwise. Or give to me and I will love and care for her properly
Off the net mate, imagine the evil bay with have loads listed. Cold air intake- but be careful mate as can actually loose power with some Idea is to get cooler air into the intake, but considering the air first passes through the turbo that's bolted to the exhaust it would be wasted without potentially upgrading the intercooler.
Intercoolers worth it mate, do make a huge difference especially in summer months- but then I don't know what the OEM unit's like on the A5.
Yes try getting original vagcon lead off net not cheap chinese version. As Dave mentioned a CAI is filter and cold air chamber to house it so it doesn't suck in hot engine air. Usually with an air intake pipe fed from front grill. Lots of different opinions on modding as you can imagine. Some would argue a intercooler isnt very beneficial in our climate especially under 400hp. I would say a CAI is very beneficial to a turbo'd system especially when mapping and wanting to force more air in. My S3 ran around 320hp with std twin intercoolers. I would have bolted one on with big turbo conversion but that would have been for well over 400hp. As said plenty ways to do it and plenty of different opinions but mostly I guess it comes down to bang for buck or ££ per hp
