    You are doomed then Jimbo.

I'll admit, this quick weightloss has aged me. I was never Brad Pitt but since I've lost it I'm looking more and more like my old man. I tend to carry it like an 8 month pregnancy and that's where I'd prefer to have lost it, but it's impossible to target one area in this fashion.

Once I've gone under the knife and the dietary restrictions come off I'm going to take a long, hard look at the hidden sugar I eat and see what a difference that makes.

If what you are saying is a bike gains 1 bhp for every 1kg lost then if i lost 30kgs and then another 15kgs bike weight over the winter my bike would be putting out 225 bhp..

Was a big write up in fast bikes about it inc Phil crow and they did suggest similar in certain situations....

Think it was more in comparison with diff riders weight affecting the power : weight ratio which obviously being heavier will have a negative affect on, but can give you advantages in other ways. Like the burger eating competition lol ;)

No he is saying that someone with a 200bhp bike weighing 10kg more than someone else with 200bhp bike will "lose" the equivalent in power of 10bhp because of the weight, ie if the lighter guy had a 190bhp bike they would be equivalent in terms of power. Your bike doesn't lose power as such, it just has to use use that power in a different way, ie lugging a Lard Arse like me, rather than making it go faster

Cycling and mountain biking seem to be popular with BSB and some Brit MotoGP riders. Also Moto-X, but a few have injured themselves doing that.

Many do use mountain biking (and cycling) your right, as great cardio but also works same muscles.... Also good fun and low impact on the joints (unless you crash). With the ankle I want to sort mine out to get out in the woods this winter as running will be off limits for a while :(
