Fitted some lightech rearsets. Will have to cut away a section of the fairing by the gear lever as it just rubs against it, good job Chinese ones ! Brake pedal side the inside nut on the rubber brake pedal just brushes up against the Black foot hanger , needs a spacer on the hinge bolt to move it away from the hanger to stop rub marks, only by a single mm will be fine. Pleased with them just been for quick ride and with gps re calibrated speedo as 520 chain and 1 less tooth on front sprocket fitted a few days ago.

Serviced my BMC air filters. What a pain that is to do on cylindrical filters compared to a flat one. As per normal with me I put too much stuff on it and so have spent most of the day removing the excess, and hopefully will be refitting them tomorrow. Also wired up a switched supply for the sat nav using a kit I got from the wonderfully named Eastern Beaver company. Had puppies when I went to test it and got the FI and MIL flashing at me. Cue loads of cable checking etc until I realised I still had the sensor on the air box disconnected from when I took the filters out

Was actually yesterday :D but fit a HRC quick action throttle, did the PAIR valve mod and installed a Bazzaz Z-AFM.

Today I tried out the Z-AFM and getting some weird results in that the bike seems to be running rich at 12.2 under 6000rpm with the stock map

Some technical stuff going on here, let me simplify things a little [lot!] Today I found out how to use the built in lap timer and removed the servo cable to give the stock exhaust a bit of volume (below 5000rpm at least!) Well I think its good!!! :-D :-D

I bought my bike, HRC Blade 2014 ABS, in June and at the time tried to get R&G rearsets fitted. Now according to the dealer, it was like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. I've had a reply from R&G, apparently they do fit, albeit with 'limited adjustment'. Before shelling out £400 I'd rather take advice first.

I have noticed that many folks fit ASV levers; any advice on what the differences are as there seems to be a few different models?

You got a reply from R&G, now that is impressive. Lots of info on here about rearsets like Gilles, Lightech, SES etc.

ASV c5 unbreakable levers come in standard (still shorter than oe levers) and short length (two finger length) only difference is the pivot/knee for brembo master cylinders not rcs type though

    What type you looking for?

I bought the F3 instead as they are cheaper and are the same except not milled like the C5's

Bikes just had a full 16,000 mile service at 'Brindley Honda' in Wolverhampton so (with new plugs and filters fitted) I took it into 'Lee Motorcycles' (Ledbury, Herefordshire) to get my PC5/Taylormade set-up fine-tuned. They're a Powercommander authorised tuning centre plus, they have a dynamic wheel balancer and so I got them to fit a new Michelin 2CT front hoop at the same time. I DO love my 'blade!

Just collected my bike from its 8000 mile service at P&H in Crawley (great dealership if anyone lives near there).
Just ordered front and rear Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres, Bendix MRR front brake pads and Renthal R4 SRS final drive kit to be fitted this weekend.

I lost my tax disc back in March. Didn't bother replacing it. Never got tugged for it. Glad I didn't waste the £7.50 it was gonna cost me for a replacement :D
