Tell me the truth guys, I,ve put a utility bag/belt that also holds a spare visor on my xmas list. My wife thinks its funny that I want a bum bag and she wants to know if I want a shell suit to go with it. What is the general thoughts on this, will I look a dick wearing one or is it a practical solution to having no under seat storage. I don't want to look a dick head????
I would probably wear 1 actually on long hauls as i cant wear a back pack coz of the hump on my leathers and last time i put stuff in my seat storage the cover blew off and all my stuff blew out the back of the bike . I hate tank bags so a utility belt is the only option now
i bought a kriega one for when were out in europe and need to take extra shit on any particular day out riding......its still brand new not that i wouldnt use it.... but they do things different in europe
I call it my Visor Holder! Great pieces of kit. I usually carry phone, wallet, dairy milk, Visor, neck tube, loose change, charger for scala rider, bottle of holy water and cloth.
Few pals have kreiga ones, great bits of kit. But does look a bit crap IMO.. I prefer a small rucksack.... Don't ever go out without my r15... Think they are more secure and can hold more in it!!
I've got a great Fuji film one. It was one of their freebie promo items years ago. It lives in the 'Blades boot, and it can unroll into a water resistant rucksack if it's normal capacity isn't enough. It means I don't have to worry about not being able to impulse buy when I'm out on the bike.
A mixed responce there, I don't mind dressing up as batman but not out and about on the bike? Might just stick with a ruck sack and not bother, I,ll concious of looking a dip stick anyway?
Ive got one of these, the only thing I don't like about them is they can ware your leathers.. Dainese Very handy with full leathers imo. eBay:- (not quite the same) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dainese-B...38?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2568510e16
Whatever is practical for you to carry stuff in, but think about what you carry and where you put it. Landing on it if you get knocked off could cause back problems!!!
I had the kriega r3 for my tour in Spet. due to no pockets on my Dainese 2 piece it came in very handy holding my wallet, passport, cash etc.. it never left my side. 1000% waterproof and well made http://www.kriega.com/products/R3.html
