Well having started to get over the loss of my SP1 to Daz, especially after Daz posting photos of her with a new bed partner. I'm sure I heard the wife say (or was I dreaming) you only need one bike!

Those mortal words spurred me in to action, picked up the iPad and started searching with a little urgency. Long and short of it is I found a 2011 Z1000 3595 miles in A&D Motorcycles (Denbigh) and it was a private sale. So with a quick meet with the owner a price & a service was agreed.

Blade now has a new sleeping partner :D

It's not an SP1 and never will be
It is a lot of fun though :D

A lovely bike indeed, it was a close call when (recently) i purchased my Honda CB1000RA between what i have now and the Z1000..... but i am a Honda groupie, the Z though was really nice, never got to ride it ...... maybe next time.

On idle not so loud as the big ugly collect box is still in place. While accelerating and going through the gears they are loud screamers, got the standard cans so could swap back.

They are Vance & Hines CS one Growlers

It needs some gold on it. Perhaps gold wheels.
