    Folks

need advice, after a short journey my enjoyment of my long awaited Blade is in jeopardy, why? My poor bottom can take the so uncomfortable seat no longer. Is the £218 worth the spend for an ecomfort seat? Are there any alternatives to this at a cheaper cost?

I had occasion to be out a bit later than normal recently; on the return journey from Inverary to Paisley my poor fingers began to suffer from the cold. (aw shame:( ) Has anyone installed the latest heated grips from Honda that has the heated grips switches built into the left hand switch gear?

    thanks, Dave

First modification is the e-cushion gel seat!! Looks a lot better than the standard seat too. They are that good that if I sold my blade I would hang onto it just in case I got another one. As a matter of fact thay are flipping awesome.

Got a 'Comfort' seat for an 08-14 Blade for sale OP.

Tiz yours for £110 inc postage to mainland UK.

sinewave many thanks for the kind offer, in between my post and reading your reply I ordered a seat from the local dealer, tried it yesterday and what a difference it made. Oh and fitted a Honda genuine 'High Screen' yesterday too, I think its similar to a double bubble? just need some rearsets. Does anyone have any recommendations for fully adjustable rearsets that have hinged footrests for the 2014 CBR1000RR C-ABS?

R4ster, was I with my chum who was on a red Fazer 1000? I do chat somewhat when meeting like minded folks, there was a very nice gixer 1000 in the car park that day and I recall chatting with some nice chaps; we had arrived just as a bubble car outing was leaving? memory is not quite it was ...

Have you got a 600F as well ?
Guy I was chatting to from paisley had a 2012 blade and a 600F.
I did point him in the direction of this forum, as he was asking about suspension settings.

As for rearsets, I have just sold a set on eBay, brand new, for £100.

Ratser, I know it's been a while since you posted but apologies I've not been on the forum for a while. Sorry it wasn't me you spoke too; as well as the Blade I had a Thundercat 600( did have but wife gave it to my son as clearly I can only ride one bike at a time!). Still looking for a set of rearsets, seems R&G do a set but limited adjustment puts me off these.
