In the constant ebb and flow of sexual politics and gamesmanship that is part of a successful marriage, it's easy and sadly common to not give the credit due when ones partner shows that spark of intuition and creativity that marks them out as the perfect choice and makes you proud of yourself for making it in the first place ( feck knows it never happens to me). So a slow and respectful round of applause for Jeanette for this perfect solution to one problem, plus a brilliant experiment in the conservation of energy. When the freezer needs defrosting at the same time that a load of washing needs tumble drying....
That is truly epic, you have indeed found a rare model in Jeanette! Im just praying theres no food in the freezer though, lol
Brilliant idea let down by the fact she's not put any Towels down to soak up the flood of defrosted water heading Floor bound!
You're the second person to point this out mate, which makes me wonder how many of you look in the bottom of your freezers... There are removeable drip trays built into them... Or do I just pick the really good ones...
Bloke methods of defrosting a freezer in order of simplicity and efficiency. 1 - Buy frost free freezer. 2* - Take freezer outside. Wedge door open. Hose down the inside of freezer. Tilt forwards and allow excess water to drain out. Quickly wipe down freezer. Take back inside. Turn freezer back on. Sit back and watch the TV after 5 mins work. 3** - Get wife to do it. *Don't try this if you live it a flat **Whilst this may at first appear to be the simplest and most hassle free method you must also take into account the collateral damage and effort required to do it yourself properly afterwards.
Do frost free freezers still work when they're packed with tupperwar bowls full of whichever fad juicer/processor/soup maker/smoothie maker that lasted just long enough to actually fill the freezer with pre made meals that now contain meat less fresh than Tutenkhamun ... If so...
Ours does. But then again as well as soups and such like we also have chinese takeaway plastic tubs with bolagnese, curry and such like. Maybe the variety helps disperse the frost as well Inside of the plastic tubs can be a bit frosty though.
