Colours and shades of brick .I really like this type of thing. You can imagine the people and the activities over the years .

Might get myself a decent camera and try a bit of this something very attractive in this old building stuff
That one's quite a clever exposure, actually Mike (unless you've got a 5D of course). The one of the boiler house is using an effect called HDR (High Dynamic Range). A real Marmite and, in my opinion, massively over used one, consisting of taking several pictures at different exposures and laying them on top of each other so that shadows and highlights are are visible.
Wish I had the skill to attempt photos like these ,to the trained eye like yours you can obviously spot different styles and touch up jobs but for the casual observer it's all good.
I'm off to Red Rocks in Hoylake tomorrow, to try and get a great sunset pic. Will post up if successful.
