Morning Andy Good news – see attachments – you’ve passed the paperwork Skills Assessment for entering Australia, congratulations! Regards Lee Bromfield F#@IN GET IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm too friggin old !! You've just bought a new bike as well. Although it will take a year or two to do the rest of the points you need.
Been big into this ancestry.com this past couple of years. Had three relatives make it to the states, & im sure I'd have had a few relatives on them boats to australia too. If they hadn't of hung the fookers Like Iang, too old for this lark now, but if I'm ever this way round again....
Good for you mate, go for it….. I had the chance in the 90’s with a work transfer to our Australian Melbourne head office, I blinked, and the moment was gone. Whilst it isn’t all love and honey down there at least the weather is much kinder. Don’t blink, do it, you can always come back if you don’t like it.
Exactly, going to try it for a year as renting house out for same period of time, if it works great but if it doesn't we can come back because this country will always be the sh@t hole it is. Thanks people, been saving for 10 year and now finally we good to go as I'm 40 next year and then too old.
CONGRATS!!!!!! Come and visit me and my family at Phillip Island, free accommodation ,do a track day, chill out island time!!!
We're going to Brisbane as the vehicles I work on (Terbergs) Have lots situated there. I'm a hgv fitter but prefer metal fabrication so i can turn my hand to anything really. The cost of a visa is huge, I'm using an agent which is better for me as they do all the vetting of the paperwork before it gets sent. Agent £1650, English exams £175, vet assess skills assessment £768, medical and police checks etc £500. That's so far and not got visa yet.
I've done about 4 visas myself and it's not hard but you have to be thorough. Brisbane is great for weather but has less work than Sydney or Melbourne. You mentioned bringing your bike? If so, I wouldn't bother unless you're really attached to it as you can pick up something here for a decent price.
Oh right, I'll see how I get on with it 1st u may have sold it by then. My visa isn't straight forward as my hole family is coming with me and a daughter to a previous marriage which is getting messy.
The Australian government likes to know everything! A spouse visa is tons of fun too. Links to blade's in Queensland 39 Honda CBR1000RR (FireBlade) QLD Bikes for Sale - bikesales.com.au
