Well as some of you know I sold the zx10 to buy another Blade, well the blade came with the pillion pegs in a bag as the previous owner had removed them, so with the morning off work I decided to put them back on(to keep the wife happy) so out came the tools and the kettle on I mean how long can it take to bolt a couple of peg hangers on  off with the seat and cowl. Tail tidy bolts out and then the fun began, how does the rear plastic come off??? then the battery tray needs to come loose to get access to the brace bolts, 10 mins later realised the fuse box has to un clip to allow access to the under tray screws, then WTF the sub frame needs splitting to be able to remove sides one at a time, anyway after an hour pegs on and re assembled without so much as a lost screw or a few spares left over :D I mean a f*****g hour to put a couple of pillion pegs on .

It's not that tricky if you just take your time and put the bit's that come off in order, the it's just a case or doing it in reverse order, it took just about an hour from wheeling it out to wheeling back in including a brew and smoke break :)

Sato street hooks or similar are the way forward, 2 minutes to put the footpegs back on and more comfortable for the passenger as lowers the pegs buy nearly two inches

I will take you up on that offer in the New Year sometime. I might get some Sato hooks first.
