As above, I have an RR C and was looking on Ebay (as ya do) and seen a DB screen for my blade made by Powerbronze. I've had items off them before so I know they're ok but will a DB screen make muck difference on a blade? Might sound a sill Q but would still like to know. Andy
it made a difference for me.....but I guess its all about sixe and how you perch yourself........ good wind deflectors though regardless
I had a Puig but it cracked in the Sun (admittedly it was abroad!) What you need is one of these http://1000rr.co.uk/parts-accessories-clothing/21808.htm#post324527

Got to agree, the fit and finish is superb, and it does a great job of reducing the wind blast on longer runs. Had it on my 12 and it fits my 14 as well I had an MRA on my 04 which was good, and may be worth a look if you can't find the Honda one.
I'd go with Zero Gravity for screens! Steer clear of Powerbronze, they are sell shyte and so is their customer service! http://1000rr.co.uk/powerbronze/8383.htm
I had two powerbronze screens ages ago for a VFR and yes they were both shit, sent 'em back, neither fitted. Bought a MRA instead which fitted perfect. I now have Zero Gravity Corsa on the RR7 (might have been you sine' that recommended it?) works great, makes all the difference. I had a ZG DB on the bike before that which while very good quality did f*** all for windblast. God knows what a standard screen is like.
Question is , does the wind going overt top of yer make yer feel the weight on your arms/wrists or not ?
at 60mph - 90mph it does its job just fine allowing the wind to take the weight of your hands (as does the standard screen) above this speed is when I need the protection allowing me to get behind the screen and not get blustered about and not having to get down so low (difficult if you are overweight) above 150 mph its a must. Just my opinion. I ride for up to four hours before feeling discomfort.
My 1000RR is the first bike I've not fitted a DB screen on and I don't think I'll bother this time. All the ones I have had on provious bikes have been of a lower quality than the standard ones, dont fit as well and while they do reduce the wind on your chest, they just redirect it at your head which I find even more uncomfortable. Unless of course you fit a huge one like they do on the TT bike but IMO they look gash.
(From Stevie_D) Question is , does the wind going overt top of yer make yer feel the weight on your arms/wrists or not ? Well, do you suffer from any excessive windblast now? If so what screen have you got on the bike?
power bronze screens are poop.. mate fitted one and it was about 10mm higher than standard! MRA all the way..
The powerbronze on mine was cracked following my mates Super Duke 1290, I promptly bought a rad guard after that! The PB one is not as bad as made out by others, but the plastic is rigid in comparison to the Zero Gravity that replaced it. I think the Zero Gravity would have chipped not cracked. Its a Corsa and noticed a massive difference (+ve) compared to the Powerbronze with regard to airflow. I have a MRA on my ZX10R and its also a quality item. On a separate issue I just bought an R&G hugger and I'm well impressed with it, although it's far too expensive for what it is.
