No news as such yet but "The bike is a road going MotoGP bike, closely based on the World Championship winning RC213V machine. The price will reflect the exclusivity and specification of this machine."
Lights, indicators, mirrors, road legal tail tidy, side stand etc.. As far as I can see its showroom ready so personally I can't see why it won't be on sale in early 2015. I hope its under 50k but agree its going to be a high end exclusive product.
Similar words to how Yamaha described the new R1. "Rossi tested", "similar tech to M1", "based on M1" etc etc. Do like it though.
Just seen it on you tube (type 'Eicma 2014' into the search bar) it is absolutely amazing!! There are some brilliant bikes coming out next year.
Much nicer than r1. But untill sales slow for the blade why bring out something new ( not sure on sales just said that )
25-30 k, I think that guys on drugs, and he will mean dollars right...lol Jessus I want some some of what he's smoking..lol If it is I'm having one, it's all for sale.....lol
If it's 25k then I may have to sign up to a pcp who cares it's only money! Love the headlights and flat tank need it want it can't afford it
Now that's how you do it!! I wow I'm in love would love one of them.. I'm with art serious serious money I think... But why couldn't yam do the same think with the r1? Rip off the m1 body work.. Hope the new blade follows the styling, epic
What new blade? Def not anything coming until 2016? Think Honda have cleverly released this to divert attention the r1 will have and glaze over the fact the blade is now miles out of date against its rivals... And it's a bit unrealistic to compare the new r1 against the rcv as its in a different league in spec and price. I still love my blade, it was amazing on the road, and still too Good for me on track, but if I Was buying a new toy or had the budget to build a top spec race bike, I wouldn't even consider it tbh. Flame me but just my view.... That said, that rcv is truly stunning and I'd consider some serious criminal weekend work to acquire one ha ha
I like it but I'm also starting to like the R1 as said I reckon 60k + and probably sell out instantly I might buy 2 as it will be hard finding wheels for wets
Go well at the club that RCV Wedgie haha... get your self some Repsol leathers though mate, no pressure from the lads may as well stick a #93 on it for luck lol (someone will)
Yeah know there's nothing this year Jimbo, was taking 2016.. Or is that 2018.. Think it will be until people stop buying the old model.
Bang on mate, recover as much r&d as possible, which is exactly what the sp (I'd love one btw) is about...They ain't the biggest manufacturer by luck..... Thing is, so many exciting bikes out next year, can't see them shifting the same numbers or having same share of the litre sports bike market with the current bike
