Inspired by 2013 and 2014 MotoGP champion Marc Marquez the 2015 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP will be available in a special Repsol #93 replica paint. Standard Fireblade will be available as Repsol as well.
I'm liking that a lot. Shame they can't tidy up that ugly ABS box o'gubbins under the seat. I noticed the RCV road bike doesn't seem to have the same bulge so they must have found somewhere else for it...
To be honest it's all bollocks!!! New paint scheme same bike, yes it looks good but I will just buy a 300 pound Chinese fairing kit not many will know the difference.
Im not sure I like the new Repsol scheme.. completely orange tank looks rubbish and without the black wings on the rear doesnt look complete to me.. I know they have tried to do them but just not the same at the RCV. If its 15k I think they will struggle to shift them.. Die hard repsol / blade fans only I think for this one
I looked at one of the Sp models in Laguna m/c's.They offered me £5800 trade in on my 2011 rra. That's nearly £10k more for a tweaked up standard blade. I went out and bought a newer car instead.I think I will cut my teeth into the one I've got for a bit longer.
Looks lovely - I think it really needs some tech adding, even an HM QS as factory / dealer fit option would help give it some tech. That said we ride on roads, and what has the lap record at the Isle of Man - Mr Ansty on a Blade from memory, so for fast road riding its got the cred. It all comes down to price I guess -
Now that's a brilliant looking bike! Favourite colours but i am a little bit sceptical for its performance comparing it to the rest of the new models for 2015.
