    Hi guys.

    Just a question for you.
Did the 2012/13 bikes come with a small hugger fitted as standard?
I've seen a lot of them in pics here and was just wondering why my Thai/Japanese spec bike didn't come with one.

    As shown in these pics.

    Mine did!

Still swapped it out for an HRC one though!

Mmmm funny that!! I am 100% positive that all the ABS fireblades I have seen do not have the small OEM (useless) hugger that is fitted to the non-abs as standard

My bike had one although they are about as much use as a sponge leg in a flood !

Surprised that Honda went to the trouble of a special spec for Lincolnshire

Live and learn every day I guess. :D

You can add me to the list if you want, my 12 and 14 ABS did not have a hugger, they come with a little lump of plastic.

I put an R&G one on the 12 bike, but could not remove it due to the rubbish allen screws they supplied!

Mine didn't come with one either - just a little piece of plastic trim.

    Thats that cleared up then.
Which leads me onto my next question...
I'm running a 200 rear tyre, would this give me any clearance problems with a (King Carbon) hugger?
Also any advice on suspension adjustments to stop the ABS unit smashing the hugger?

Yeah, drill 2 holes in the Hugger with a 32mm Holesaw!

    Worked for me lol!
