Well not really that much of a dilemma but the blade is stripped down ready to have some block off plates put on its booked in for DYNO in 2 weeks .So while its stripped down might aswell whack the samco hoses on . Do I refill with antifreeze and leave until March for racing then swap for water or just leave it empty and fill for dyno then drain again ? If antifreeze route can you use any anti freeze ? Many thanks wedgie

Just fill it n drain after dyno then leave it empty if the bikes not gettin used mate.

If you need to run the thing few times over a longer period then antifreeze mix will be your safest option just in case the temps drop unexpectedly on you.

Oh on the anti freeze Q. Just make sure it's ethylene glycol based and you will be good.

    Mines drained for Winter Wedgie!

Waters free (without being pedantic) so why bother with Antifreeze?

Some say you should only use Silicate free Antifreeze on Hondas, apparently the water pump doesn't like it. There lots on the net about it - TBH I don't know the what is the truth but it bothered me enough to drain my nearly new motul coolant and replace with Castrol GP (Silicate free) coolant.
