I've never met him but would love to. Heard people who have met him many times and say the same as others have. Sometimes he can come across nice and other times not so. But in the end we are not always happy. So I can fully understand this I like the guy.

I've seen him in the paddock at the NW200 a couple of times and to be honest he always seems happy enough to do a bit of signing or pose for photos, but sometimes the crowds and sheer numbers of people wanting a piece of him seem a bit overwhelming. I can understand why he sometimes gets a slating from the people who've waited to see him and then been disappointed, but he can't stand and sign everything or he'd never get any racing done.
Good lad imo 100% effort into everything he does, mad as a box of frogs and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, I know some of the other racers don't like him but is that envy or jealousy? His personality has got him TV shows
Surely I can't be the only one who finds him extreeeeemly irritating? He's 'not all there' and he's got 17 speeding points (and counting) on his license. A recipe for disaster? I hope no one else is hurt when the dimwit has the inevitable 'BIG ONE'.
Ah el-nicko, you beat me to it. IDGAF about his driving record, but I do find him to be a pain in the neck and would like to see much less of him.
Always a good watch when he's on TV. My nipper really likes to watch him and my missus fancys him. No accounting for taste I guess
I had to cower behind a hedge at the NW200 this year when Simon Andrews bike came hurtling past, it's scary stuff and makes your heart jump a beat
Great guy on tv but in real life i couldnt comment. I like his enthusiasm though to push himself to the limit and try new challenges besides racing. Great choice of tv.
Here's the man just in an informal situation taking random questions....very down to earth Range Rover Evoque Launch Event - YouTube Scroll through to 5:18 to miss the dull stuff..
