£4.5 grand!? As a starting bid! Pmsl Some nice bits on it but I'd rather have an original thanks.... Or better still an aprillia or smart card nsr 250
They were good in the day and the Rgv must surely look the most modern bike of its time . It still doesn't look dated now IMO .cant help think you'd be frustrated with the lack of power and the up down up down of the left foot. This has gotta be my fav .............
There is a place not to far from me with an old rg 500 gamma it's in poor condition and they want about £9k for it, so makes that look cheap!
My mate from years ago bought an F Reg RG500 Gamma brand new, ran it for 3 years then tried selling it before it needed an MOT and just when the bottom fell out of the 2 stroke market. Offered it me for £2400 in split mint condition!
Sorry disagree buddy, that rgv makes this look cheap!! The gammas are mega rare but still a few good 250's kicking round. And IMO Steve the best 250 looks wise has to be the Honda...
Totally agree the smart card nsr 250 is like a Swiss watch, the aprillia does look better than the rgv both had the same engine though I believe, all those strikers in good nick are fetching good money! About a year ago there was a guy on ebay selling an RD350LC heavily modified for about £15k
I sold a tatty 350lc that my dad was going to do up for my 1st big bike for a set of leathers and some money towards my vfr400. What an idiot....
