I've been reading a few reviews lately and note there was a minor revision on the Fireblade around 2010?

How do you tell if it is a revised model or not on a 2010?

Cbr1000rr RRA is the 2010 revised bike.
It has a bigger flywheel for better low end torque and a different exhaust cover.Old one didn't have slashes. The tail/no plate hanger was redesigned to be removed more easily. Not much else though.Unless i've missed it:rolleyes:

The flywheel change was to also smooth out low speed surging and shunting

    It failed........,,,

The crank shaft was made stronger as some blades from 08-09 suffered from weak crank shafts witch slightly deformed and made a terrible sound on tick over and when the bike wasn't under load . I should know i have one :(

It sure does  Honda won't stand over the problem and it's more or less a engine rebuild to fix it :(
