Like a noob I didn't allow enough scrub time for my new PR4. Done about 150miles on em which is usually enough for me but they gave way and the Blade spat me off. Wasn't even trying to go particulary fast, left turn, apply throttle than wham on the deck doing synchronised pirouettes on the tarmac. I went through the same corner yesterday faster in the wet:confused:

Lesson learnt, at least I got my knee down!:)

If anyone can help with the following it would be much appreciated

    Broken Stuff

Left RG Aero Bung - sorted 22/11 FOC by R&G!!
Left RG Paddock Bung - sorted 22/11 FOC by R&G!!
Left rider Peg - sorted 22/11 ebay
    Right Mirror
    Bar Weights

The following I might just replace with a full set from China but if anyone has some hanging around for a 09 HRC would be interested to know

    Nose Cone
    Tail Cowl
    Left Mid Fairing

Mainly cosmetic, fairing broken/scruffed, mirrors hanging off, pegs snapped undies stained.

as jimbo says, suspect it's more down to the road temp, greasy etc rather than tyre not scrubbed.at least not too much damage.

Spot on comment. The roads are very greasy and cold. Diesel or fuel contamination?

Hope there's no injuries other than to pride and wallet matey.

Those tyres have still got the little rubber strand bits on them sticking out.

Mixture of bad road surface and tyres that weren't fully scrubbed in is what I'd say caused this.

    Hope you're ok !

    Glad you're OK matey!

Those tyres don't looked scrubbed at all on the sides or any where near, just a bit in the center.

It's not the mileage that scrubs em in but using a gradual measured amount of steeper lean angle.

You can ride for 300 miles on a Motorway/Main A road and never lean over more than 30 degrees.
If you then tip on to a country lane switchback type of road and then tip in to the first bend at 40 degrees+ you'll be straight off as this part of the tyre is still virgin. [IMG]
Not critisising just saying like! [IMG]

Thanks all spam yer all with likes and luvin'.Funny thing is every rider that passed offered help (20+) none of the multitude of drivers ( Ok bar 1 or 2) offered anything but rubber necking! Wouldn't blame them if I had been riding like a nob the second before but in this case I was riding quite courteously.

Yes pride is dented but only myself to blame - can't wait to tell the Mrs the news.

Always got out suited and booted so only have a sore ankle but apart from that all good. Helmet did clatter pretty hard so I think it may be time to change my 7 year old Swantz Arai!

Anyway all is checked and 'fixed' a few battle scars but they are like biker wings right!
All cracks gaffered up, replaced the rear set peg with the pillion peg, forks and wheels realigned.
Even took a belt sander out on the tyre walls!

Cosmetic stuff will have to wait until X-mas is paid for but will need to source some left rears pegs and right mirror.

and sorry in advance all my photos are ozzie:confused:
