No you're quick right. Been riding long enough and reminded countless times by fitters to be careful. Done a few miles but not really had the chance to really tip it progressively due to the weather. I normally go around a local figure of 8 roundabout to scrub in but didn't this time...........
Depends how you see it, the fairing is damaged but only scuffed. Casings were undamaged but have GB racing covers on them just in case too. Checked the mounting bolt and it is straight, intact and removable. It allowed me to get home so I think it did what it needed to do. I will deffo replace them with new ones.
Gutted for you mate but real riders go down every now and then..... Agree with Sinewave the sides look virgin rubber still with that horrible shiny coating so you got a little unlucky don't lose faith in the PR4's they've done me well for 4.5k
Sorry to hear of your off,at least you're ok. Hate getting new tyres and getting the confidence in them.
Gutted for you mate but nothing that can't be fixed, could work out cheaper to fix it yourself than going through insurance
Sorry to read this mate.. At least you are ok. Bike will fix . I have a few bits and pieces lying around that ill send you foc if you need a barend, standard clipon or standard lever .. Soon be reight
Doubt it would've helped much in this instance Nicko! I spose at your age your Bike has a 'Slow Action' Throttle conversion to compensate for the encroching Parkinsons in ya right wristy eh?
Mate gutted for you, but at least you are ok. Maybe will we all learn a lesson from what has happened, shit/cold roads and new tyres just don't mix.
