Put Dry Fuel into the wife's NSR and brimmed the tank. Spent ages trying to start it to work it round the system and after 5 mins was about to give up when I remembered the choke :( Things you forget after years of more modern machinery. Once started ran the bike up to temp, then turned off the fuel tap and allowed it to use all the fuel in the pipes so it doesn't clog the carbs over the winter. Finally brimmed the tank for the winter.

    My bike tomorrow :)

This stuff - Wynn's Dry Fuel

Idea is it absorbs any water in the fuel. I put it in the tank over winter and not had a problem come the spring. It may be snake oil but it doesn't seem to do any harm if it is :)

After fitting some Gilles riser bars and new Venhill brake lines, a Brembo 19RCS master cylinder new Oxford heated grips and a new Honda E-comfort seat had a ride out to West Sussex, talk about a weird feeling as the bike felt nothing like it did before I changed the said items. First was the much improved riding position which was a 100% better than the standard bars, less of an acute angle and only raised by some 10mm, brakes that actually work did not realise how shit the standard master cylinder is, the old one went straight in the bin!!!!!!!
It now stops on a penny!!
Comfort seat was lovely too, I thought it would be a gimmick as I ride all year round and cover 16000 miles plus and the standard seat was ok, but boy what a difference the new seat is, I hardly felt the road today and still covered some 125miles on my little trip out.

After 20K+ my Tsubaki Sigma chain is proper fecked. 15mm between the slackest and tightest spots. on inspection there was some serious play between some of the links.

Changed for a Ognibene quiet front sprocket, DID VX Chain and Renthal HA rear. DID was really easy to fit compared to the Tsubaki due to the hollow rivet. Also actually managed to refit the rear wheel without having a hernia!

Also put some winter boots on (PR4s). Bit scary scrubbing them in in torrential rain but rather that than on my commute

The blade just feels soo sweeeet :)

The old Super Sprox and OEM front don't look too worse for wear

Fitted a keyless fuel cap. Not because of some weird race look fettish, but because the track bike came with 2 different keys as the one on the cap didn't match the ignition and I can't be doing with a 2nd key flapping around at speed  So if anyone wants a standard fuel cap with key... ;)

3 hours to sort out a clutch cut out fault on my NC30, HR joint in the end, I think I must have proved out the same section about 4 times before I nailed it. Wish I would have put the heater on when I started

    Unlike yours it's a grey.
But never left its crate in Japan, so carries a year of manufacturer of 1999, only covered 11K miles and virtually OEM

Installed new tail tidy after the one on the bike snapped ...

A bit of polishing, ventureshield and GTechniq EXO to seal the paint.

    Installed wheel graphics ...

Next step is power commander ...
