There's a 2013 blade on auto trader, 7000miles, he wants £7600, so I'm assuming if someone went with £7k he'd probably take it

Agreed :) The problem is its still a bargain priced 5k mile 1 owner 14 reg latest model Blade - which pushes the price down on the rest of the nearly new stuff.

Just two or three weeks ago I was trying to sell my 2013 HRC, mint with 2300 miles, was getting offered £7500 and that was in part exchange !!!
Ended up getting about 1k more but that was at a local dealer who I have used a lot previously and against a pre reg 899.

I would say a maximum of £8k at a dealer if your lucky, dealers don't want stock lying until spring.

    A little more privately.

Check eBay and bike trader...you want to be the cheapest...as the ones listed have been on sale for ages...

I so wanted one, having just broken my leg recently, not sure my wife would approve of me buying a more expensive repsol...so keeping my 09 plate safe in the garage...

    Good luck with the sale

Agree. It seems to be hard work selling bikes these days. I had a mint 18 month old 2013 Speed Triple for sale for £6250 (£1000 less than the cheapest private price on Trader / Ebay) and zero interest.

Thanks for info, looks like its worth £8400, but im going to take off pipe. The bike also currently has K-tec front and rear!! Would that affect the price you would pay? Going to take rear k-tec shock off and put original back, but have to leave the k-tec forks on (too complicated for me). If i left both on do you think it would help sell the bike? thanks

Yrs it would help a lot ir it could put people off.. Most folk like to buy bikes standard ive found . I'd give you 500 for the shock if it was for sale :)

I'd leave the K-Tech Sussies on for now but advertise it as standard rear suspension.

Get peeps stood in ya drive looking at it first then if they look 'hooked' then mention you're removing the K-tech gear and then negotiate from there! ;)

500 for the shock, 400 for the yoshi plus 8 for the bike... Nearly 9k

That's the way to do it

    You'll not get £750 for a used K-tech rear!

New stuff is under a K!
