AGREED! he is a mega road rider, but a PR nightmare. All manufacturers should feck him off and watch him come beggin

The japs usually only give you one chance, look at honda with Rossi, so will be interesting to see how this all unfolds, good rider who's ego might outweigh his talent

I saw him there on Saturday so not quite sure how he'd have missed the meeting?

It sounds as if he is going to be a bit of an Anthony Gobert, brilliant on a bike but a plonker off it.......

It could've been in the adjacent Tent and he'd think nothing of a No Show!

This is the Man who arrived (late) at a BMW PR event wearing a Kawasaki T shirt!

Maybe he just wants to race under his own terms rather than kowtow to a factory set up.

He looked very lean at nec....

Dunno sps, think his record maybe justifies the ego lol and rossi walked away from Honda, but your right, the jap manufactures are ruthless mofo's.

I'd still bet he could build his own bike and win on it tbh.

I think he is a twat, but he is also a great rider and the races won't have as much value if he doesn't race.

No offence but when we can ride a motorcycle as well as this man, that's when we can make comment on his thoughts and actions...till then...........I suggest till then we keep it...... and just enjoy watching him doing what he does best.

He's a brilliant road rider who has the potential to be maybe the best road rider ever. However, he's starting to burn all his bridges by the looks of it. I understand the wanting to work on his own bikes but the ' factory's ' aren't going to wear that. If this stories true what options does he have left factory wise ? I'd imagine if he just bought a bike and raced as a privateer it'd be very expensive. I hope he does continue to race as he is brilliant to watch.

A lot of people don’t like him and will not miss him neither.
He is always grumpy and I will make a bet, that Bruce Anstey
could be the winner on a BMW in 2015.
    M. Dunlop will regret his behaviour and his stupid decisions when
he gets older and unsuccessful with his private bikes.
