Currently have a 600rr for the road and have an srad for track days Love the rr though so thinking about making a transition onto a blade for the track
Welcome Kris. Plenty of advice around here to help you come to that decision. In the mean time, they'll want a look at what you got for the now. 'Bike related of course' Enjoy the forum.
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will find it a great source of info and the banters good too. Enjoy. In the meantime, get some pics up of your bikes. We like pics here.
The track bike is looking a little sorry for its self. I'm more about the go rather than the looks I'll post some up later. Only thing that concerns me is the power of the blade. I know I control it but the srad was very forgiving on the track and the 600rr I've had for about 4 years so I know it inside out. Is there a massive difference?
Hi and welcome. The answer to your question IMO The blade has a hell of a lot more low end grunt and can catch you out.Especially on wets or a damp track.Personally I've come from a gsxr600 and found the blade is much easier to ride fast and if you are in a too higher gear it will still pull.Other than that any blade will have u smiling
Thanks for the reply sideways. I've had the 600 rr on the track and felt it was really light in the corners and quick on the throttle. The srad flies around corners and takes most things but lacks the low end pull hence me wanting to change. Will see what pops up over the winter months.
