What happened to "I'm doing loads of TD's next year so to get up to speed, then I'm Racing in 2016" then?

I take it you've bought the R1 back of the Insurance Co then?

....assuming they paid out in the first place?

Jimbo is correct, just before it was stolen i changed the insurance as it was due from fully comp to 3rd party only so lost money and bike so whatever condition its in, its all mine. I haven't seen it yet and i don't know what condition its in. Its at a recovery compound in Liverpool having forensics done. Even if its a mess i will break it up and sell the parts. Im just over the moon as i really didn't think i would ever see it again... Whatever money i get back from it i will put back into the track bike:)

Jay, although I've signed up with the newcomers i still might not race and if i do it will be towards the end of the season, i just wanted to leave all options open:D

and thats a good point,t/days will give you good tracktime, but (from what i've been told obviously) just diving into it will be the best learning curve.

Matt those particular ones are more for road me and Jimbo were using k1-soft) if pretty hot days or k2 slighter colder not k3 though, you can also use slicks now as well see below photo also the new RR which I know nothing about as its a new tyre along with the slick..

I was using k2 front and K1 rear or k2

Wow,this is an exiting thread.. I've been playing with my chopper to much and and noticed anything.. Congrats on getting the Bike back mate :)

Fuck the year of trackdays.. Few runs up,to the m60 on the slip road at warp speed and flat out, get it on the dyno o for a map and your sorted. Barely 80 miles on it clock haha

Seriously tho mate, thrilled for ya ;)

    Exiting times

Word on the street is these new RR's are the kiddy.... Been told to run these over slicks (metzlers don't run slicks competitively apparently?) but these things are fresh off the road race (RR) scene and are dynamite..... So I'm told.

Ill def try them in march when temps are down as a chewed a few tyres at Snet last year :(

;) I spent this year stocking up On them. Got a room full now. Only cause they make me feel good so I stuck with them. Used to ride on tyres I found but now I'm picky cause I don't wanna crash. Tried perilli slicks and couldn't manage a lap didn't feel right. They were scrubs tho. I wanted to race with u in your class but couldn't change tyre make that's why I went in the cup or open whatever it's called and stuck with bemsee. Shame really. Did wonder if they would open tyre regs this year but the grids seemed packed last year. Does look like nl are doin something right
