Anyone here used my hermes to send parcels recently? i sent afew and the last update was on the 8th "parcel collected" form parcel shop and nothing after that,. anyone having similar issues? Have sent an email - but have to wait 24hours for a response.. sam

been waiting for a small parcel parcel (and i mean small,set of bobbins) that i think was sent through them last week,got an email off the sellar today asking if they had arrived,which they haven't,as he'd sent something else the same day which hasn't arrived. luckily (hopefully) he sid he has anoither set to post out,which he has.well,hopefully....
Iv never had an issue..saying that I have only sent 14 parcels and they arrived at the destination.. Fingers crossed...

Sam. Iain & I had a similar issue with the Hermes Parcel Shop recently. I sent him an item which I dropped off at my local Parcel Shop which then sat there for a week. It seems that Parcel Shop collections are not being done, which is supposed to be done by a third party courier who are too busy to collect parcels for Hermes. Go back to the shop to verify if it (or any others) have been collected. If not, retrieve the parcel and find your local Hermes courier for them to collect from you instead. This worked for me and the parcel was with Iain 4 days later.
Yes if you want it there pay more thru parcel force skin at least it will be there ,just sent me swingin arm to lester at harris don't need that going to some scrap man get me jist
Same here won't use Hermes any more , actually or parcel monkey either. Don't know who to use they all seem pants
Royal Mail everytime. MyHermes etc etc etc are cheap for a reason. RM has its faults but they are not as faulty as the afore mentioned bunch of cowboys.
They are all as bad as each other..Royal Mail are just a ripp off with the prices.. Parcels go missing all the time near Christmas time or maybe just delayed..
There is no way Royal Mail are a rip off. Sorry, when you know about all the things and costs that have to get your parcel from the Lands End to the Shetland Isles and beyond RM are a bargain. None of the other come anywhere near to logistics required to perform such a meanal task. Like I said RM have their faults but nothing is perfect. At the moment you can send a "small packet," weighing no more than 2kg, contents worth no more that £50 anywhere in the UK for £3.90 and that is signed for. Sounds like a bargain to me.
I have used myhermes for years and never had issues with them. The length of time for delivery varies so I wouldnt recommend if you need the parcel arriving quickly.
