Spur of the moment and I wheeled the bike out this afternoon.... Popped down my mums which is on my local fav road... And I've officially lost my mojo Was all over the show coming down here and felt like a novice again. Ok, so greasy winter roads and supercorsas isn't a great combo for your first ride since a big off but I really didn't enjoy the ride at all Bit gutted really, will bang some pr4's on and get back out at some point but think I'm going to just hang up my leathers till the spring.... Also no way my ankle would stand up to track work at the moment.... On plus side, bike looked mint lol
Know how you feel jimbo haven't been on the bike since my off at the beginning of September, I know it's gonna take time to get the mojo back and not look like a day 1 pizza deliver rider
I went out monday jim.. Cold road and tyres did nothing fir me.. As you say I felt a novice again as had no feel. Not the time of year to be riding for fun.. commumiting is fair enough but only if it's z must. Sorung will be different, you'll be fit, tyres and road Warmer which will inspire confidence and make you smile. Rest up fast lad and your time will come. Your still the fastest man On a stick I heard
Just keep it up jimbo, I never got my mojo back and don't think I ever will but you will if you keep at it mate. I was too long off the bike I think so don't make that mistake. Just keep at it and take slow steps
Cheers lads, it'll be fine, just was a bit surprised how pants I was. Lol Really need a euro track day me thinks ha ha
. Ha ha.... I wish but unfortunately not true Plenty quicker than me mate and quite a few on here also!
It won't take you long to get back into it, not really the right time of year is it ? Roll on spring, things always go better when you've got the sun on your back...
Yeah you know that!! Looking forward to putting some miles on the triumph tbh. Was still good to get out so can't complain
Spring will have you back with full mojo Jimbo. You have had a long lay off and winter is a nasty time to be trying to get back into the swing of things.
I don't normally mind winter riding tbh, quite like the challenge and just getting out and about and find if you keep ya toe in over winter you are on it come spring.... Def need to get the tyres off as that will help, just couldn't get any feel out of them and they are way past their best. Was chilly coming home though I tell ya lol
What a bunch of little girls, I'm waiting for temperatures to drop below -5 before i test these new slicks
SP3's are amazing bikes. Had one a few years back. Nearly bought a white 'R' earlier on in the year but bought a Panigale instead. Wish I bought the Trumpet! :-(
Fair play to you fella for even venturing out in this shit weather! We all have our off days where we ride like twats without being through what you have, don't beat yer sen up.
