Mate my 2 big crashes and I didn't want to be on a bike at brands hated it took me nearly all this season to start enjoying it .... I thought the off wouldn't effect me as I'm not scared of hurting myself or bike ... But it done something to my head but slowly getting back there you will be sweet mate just keep at it
Don't worry mate the minute you see me on track flicking you the finger is all that you will need to get your mojo back.
Ha ha..... This still makes me chuckle! He's in my sights... Doors open Lets look at each other and flick the bird on the way through..... Sensible ey Can even see the lads in the fence cracking up.... Surprised me you and cookie didn't get pulled off for such tomfoolery lol Cheers teamy, mojo back a little just looking at em ha ha
I did indeed buddy, Plymouth triumph to be precise. Was worth the journey. It's a lovely lovely bike.... You know it then?
decent weather on decent roads on decent tyres is the only way (be it road or track),as i dont ride much on the roads these days it's almost embarrasing the way i ride sometimes.saying that,my zx10 doesnt have TC so thats my excuse
yes I sold it to you ha. Andy at Triumph here. It is a thing of beauty! Took the plunge and have recently bought meself a repsol blade. Diggin it BIG TIME and the joined this great forum! enjoying the Speed R?
Ha ha! Small world, hello mate, yeah it's mega, although not used it much tbh.... But looking forward to next summer on it. Blade hey, very good, sure work won't be happy, would of been acceptable if you got a decent colour I guess lol
Hi mate. Ha yes it's awkward so as far as customers are concerned, I've got a lovely street triple! Is it not true that the repsol is the fastest colour? Theres only one way to settle this, jim and that's on track ...... Actually, nah forget it I remember seeing your knee sliders lol. Speedy recovery dude.
Yeah I bet, but you can't go wrong with a blade.. Repsols fastest.... In my experience the rattle can ones go quite well
JV, Just get some tyres on that implant some confidence in your head and get some miles under the wheels and it will drop back into the groove, 3s or 4s are a decent choice in this weather, rock solid in any temp. Always happy to show a back wheel to follow mate
Ha nice one jimbo. Lovin the blade though you're right you can't go wrong. them there super corsas must have been good fun in the slightly damp!
Pr3/4's have been my weapon of choice on the road for a while now since I destroyed an s20 in 4 days in Scotland and had enough of weighing out for rubber.... So need to get on something I trust and build up matey your right... Be good to get out if we get a decent afternoon one weekend pal.
Tbh they had had plenty of miles when I bought the bike (tight dealer lol) ride back from Plymouth and couple ride outs so another 6/800 miles and they are well passed their best tbh.... Hardly wisest choice for first ride since my off ha considering the damp and near freezing weather.... Main thing for me was my concentration was all over the place, I generally feel pretty sharp even after a lay off but my head was all over the place.... Sure it wasn't anything to do with enjoying four nights of festive drinks last week though
Ha bloody dealers these days. Tight bastards especially the tall lanky ones you've really gotta watch out for. Couldn't believe the chicken strips in those tyres before you collected. The bike must have been wandering what the frigg was goin on when you rode it back when it was leant over greater than 15 degrees. Lol. I'm shit when it comes to wet and cold. Confidence disintegrates.
Ha ha - no this one happened to be an absolute gent. He just had a special bike and knew it didn't put me on a strong foot lol They were some awesome strips! Lol and wtf was that rev limiter warning at 5k about
