dont bother with the expensive engine mods. All you ever need (and I've modded a few now) is a 15 tooth front sprocket (-1). All the performance you will ever need / use on the road. I considered going that route with my carbon beast, 'only' makes 161bhp at the back wheel, but after changing the front sprocket - even on a recent track day with her she was leaving my mates SP for dead on the straights.. (kind of enjoyed that haha)
Hey, mine made 162 at the wheel, I've changed my back sprocket from a 43 to a 44, I think one on the front is to much saying that I haven't tried it on this bike. as for the head, I would love another 20+bhp at the wheel. Once i get my teeth into something I go mad, I was the first in the UK to supercharge a Civic Type R FN2, I threw 12k on modding the engine, gearbox, suspension and the brakes, she run at 380bhp, once I start I can't stop.
Haha.. nice one! Sounds like you know what you want then.. plenty of folks do the tuning around, especially for our older bikes! FW Developments | Services | Engine Tuning
At the moment ive got John Warrington looking after the bike, he has a good background in tuning and rebuilding but im open minded, by the way awsome set up there Gilesy, quick question, do you get lots of intake noise with your intake mod ? Ive got a Carbon HRC copy bigmouth air intake, it makes lots of induction noise until it gets going.
My car was a red 07 and it was back in 09 when the CT engineering supercharger was fitted, I was on the Civinfo forum, DTI south fitted the charger then Paul at TDI north worked his mapping magic, I kept the car 4 years, the car was in Fastcar and Evo mags.
I was just wondering if we'd ever crossed paths before but that was after my time. Had a new '06 type R and was an active member on the TRS forum going on quite a few runs, weekend to Durness and a dyno day at dastek, but sold it year later for a 600RR
Just found this, im thinking the Blade does really well against ther BMW, its all abit bonkers, but good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51uaFU0m_ZM

Boom! I'm 13-1/2 stone without leathers / helmet etc.. I can check what my settings are if that helps?
That would be Fantastic if you woudnt mind, very good of you , I got the shock from Kyle Racing in the US, A lad called Dan, he says he has put a decent setting on it for me but it would be great to check it against yours Gilesy, again thanks for your help ,
