Think ive upset the local plod ?!
got stopped for the second time in as many months @ 05:15hrs on my way to work, what pisses me off the most why do the cops try to egg you on to race them ? both times they have ran close to my bumper then backed off only to hard accelerate back up to me again !!

fortunatly BMW lights are easy to recognise so i didnt react just in case..............that is until at the next lights he stayed behind me , i put the car in launch mode and floored it to 60mph ( the speed limit )
left him for dead ( wet greasy roads ive got 4wheel drive soft lads got rear wheel drive watched him wheel spinnin and fish tailin after me !!! ) of course when he did catch up on went the blue lights.

asks me what i was playin at ? said he was just checking the car hadnt been stolen. i asked why he thought it was a good idea to try get me to race him,he denied coming up to my bumper etc but has a video of me using my vehicle to its maximum if id like to see it ?

i then mentioned id not spun my wheels or broke the speed limit, and the fact in these conditions my car is very safe, much safer than his crap BMW and heres where i think ive blotted my copy book i meantioned that when people get behind the wheel of a BM they seem to drive like t@ssers.!! (no offence to anyone on here who owns a BMW ) but it just seemed the right thing to say at the time.

He wasnt very happy but since he agreed id done nothing wrong he let me go on my way................only time will tell how often i get stopped, and looks like xmas is going to be an beer free affair this year !!

any way rant over ...... everyone have a good xmas and a safe new year

If you're feeling victimised then report it to the police complaints commission or even better get yourself a rear facing 'in car camera' (about £50-£100 in Halfrauds) and then you'll be able to go to them with evidence of 'goading' and tail-gaiting.

I would have brake checked him when he was right up your arse! If he needed to get close to read your plate he shouldn't be on the road

Plod never do like being made to look stupid. Sadly these days a lot of them don't need any help from anyone else.

It's got a DSG box ? Think it has from memory........

    Left foot on the brake
    Select sport on gearbox
    Turn off traction control
Right foot flat to the floor, the car will only rev to about 4000rpm
    When your ready to fly
Take your left foot off brake n hold on !
