I doubt if anyone here has used one yet as we only received the first batch on Tuesday! RRP of QSE is £239.99 but if anyone wants to be the 1st to try one on a 'Blade I will do a special Christmas price and there is a 30 day money back offer if you don't like it. PM me for price if interested. Mike.
Sounds interesting.. Like the idea of customisable kill time based on revs. Should give a smooth shift, the plus HM unit doesn't use the revs to assist the kill time, and as it plugs in to the coil pack I guess it determine the revs your doing so no need for adishinal sensors! From the pics looks like it's powered from them coil pack loom like the HM and you only need to earth it. Sensor install also looks simple and no need to change the shift rod. to me looks like it has the makings of a great bit of kit!
Does look interesting, Id love to test one some time, I wonder how accurate the load cell is placed on that bolt? Seems an odd place to detect strain accurately, I am sure it does work fine as I know from years of experience with shift peddles (Motorcross and enduro) just how the load/stress effects that point of the shift lever, I also wonder how on some tapered (KTM for example) splines how well it works as there is little stress transmitted accross the pinch bolt? Again I am sure it works fine. Bluetooth setup is interesting also and I have chatted to HM about much the same in the past, or rather me just trying to be nosey and find out what may lay in the pipe line haha
Would anyone be interested in a group buy if the tests turn out to be positive? Would biker discount store be willing to do this??
Hi, I've just joined this forum, I'd be very tempted aswell, been trying to find some reviews on the product to no avail, hopefully some of the mags will get there mots on a couple just to see how good they are
Hi, im the same been looking at all the pro's con's on Q/shifts and was going to go HM, but this looks simple and imo simple is normally more reliable, do we have a guinee pig ?
I've found one vid a short clip of a lad abroad on a dyno having it setup, it's on an old gsxr750 k2 I think I messaged him to see how he is finding it, hopefully he can give us a small insight into how it's going for him
