I've got a racefit with titanium sleeve but could get a carbon sleeve if you wanted to do a swop? Gonna have to sell it when I get new racefit made for my akra headers anyway

Repsol Rob do you have any issues with loudness of the AR can at track days?
I have an yoshi r77, have to use baffle on quiet days. I like the look of high rise cans but the racefits still won't pass a loud day with the baffles in! Maybe the AR could be the way forward for me?

I haven't tried any uk.... Fitted it for Almeria (no restrictions) there.... I have some baffles that insert within the link pipe section..... But I think you might struggle as a standard can..... I'm sure you ll reach the various DB levels with a db killer inserted but she probably sound like a two stroke !! Lol

I had one on my blade and some tracks it was 102db and you needed the db killer some you didn't really did depend on the track doing the noise testing normally at oulton park you would need it even with db killer bike still sounded mint and didn't affect the performance ,like any noise testing get the bike really hot before doing the test.

One of the best well made exhausts out there IMO

I read on the AR website if you get the longer 200mm can and use the killer you can get it down to 98db, I get worried if its a 95db day I would get sent home lol would they be really strict over 5 ish dB?

I did miss the blade until I got the suspension working a lot better on the BMW and after Jerez in November was loving it and was 4 seconds quicker than the blade there the year before, the bmw is certainly not a bike you can just jump on and ride fast like I could on the blade and that was one reason I stuck with the bmw as I liked the challenge.:D

Ignore what the AR website says I found out the hard way and missed most of a trackday as couldn't pass noise testing .

I went for the 120mm end can first time as they said it was 102db out of the box it was 108db:eek:you will NOT get a AR exhaust doing 98db think the lowest I got was 101db with db killer in the one in my picture above is the 200mm which is the one you want if you get one .they do other similar designs just make sure it's the 200mm.

To answer your question about been 5db over they would not let you on track especially if it's a quiet day as there quiet for a reason .(neighbours moaning all the time)

This is my blade with 120mm end can sounded amazing but fecking loud image.jpg

That's interesting looking at your time differences.. Would you credit thd majority of thst to thd bm being quicker with the suspension sorted or are you better rider now with more experience .. Something always draws me to the bm and IT pisses me off

    Great bikes

My quickest time round oulton is a 1.50 and that was on the blade and I was doing 1.51 this year on the bmw so nearly there but since getting the forks sorted on the bmw and my improved times round Jerez this year I am expecting to be a lot quicker round oulton next year and other tracks so time will tell.:D

I have defo come on with the racing but it has took me a while to get used to the bmw where as the blade was such an easy bike to ride IMO.

IF I can get a tow round by Madd Matt i could be doing 1.36,s:D

I am racing there in April with No Limits so hoping to go well .:D

on a serious note, the bm is outright quicker, but not out the box, takes a fair bit of fettling to get it how you want, where as the blade is a lot more compliant,so even though it's not bang on,it still feels good, but once you get the bm set up,and confidence in the front end it is a quicker bike (for the most part).

i've been quite lazy this yr setting mine up,and it's showed.theres only oulton where i'm not faster now then the blade, but after a few more fettles at jerez and now over winter there's no excuse.
