Took the bike out for a spin today but must have look like a learner since I haven't ridden in 3 months since my accident.

Just waiting for a couple of bits and I can complete my build, not looking bad so far though

Sorted out rear indicators. Nearly new 2014 Blade and the rear indicators had water in. When I had a look I noticed they were upside down (presume whoever had fitted R&G Tail Tidy had mixed them up?! And they had changed wiring to suit?!..

Finished the mods to change my Japanese spec blade to Euro spec today.
Fitted the EURO ECU, coded the 4 keys to go with it. Changed the velocity stacks (Euro spec) and unblocked the air box and left side ram air tube. Should stop the 180km/h speed restriction and give me 30-40 extra horses!

Taking the Blade to fit the Bazzaz Z-Fi and set up on the dyno this weekend. Will post the dyno results here when finished.

(Also found 40 quid on the floor in the toilets in the Honda showroom which paid for the labour today and left me enough for a few beers tonight). Cheers

You wanna be careful picking up money from toilet floors, it usually means they're paying in advance :D

Got my damaged fairings back from the body shop. It's only took a year for me to get round to having them fixed

Refitted the repaired fairings while I've got time. Just need a day where I've time to ride it again now.

Had to drag the track bike out to get to it though. I really should put the road bike at the front of the garage now :D

Just popped out to the garage for a fag and to stare at my bike thats in loads of pieces due to a bit of winter tinkering, and while i was there, hiding from the chaos a 4 year old can bring on such a day, i decided to change my spark plugs ! Now toying with the idea treating myself to a matt black fairing kit to make it look evil !

    Happy Christmas one and all...

Just popped (snuck) back out to the garage for another fag and found myself taking off the exhaust servo cables in readiness for my new Mivv X Cone silencers to go on ! Hope I've got the pulley in the right place so the fi light doesn't come on !

Ive stripped the flapper valve and shenanigans out, and had the pair valves off too..

Do i get a light on from disconnecting the pair valve ??

Wish santa had have brought me a manual so i don't keep taking off twice as much stuff before i realise how to get at things..
Santa did however bring me a Karcher, so ill be gently blasting my iffy rad out tomorrow and give it a coat of uht black paint as its looking a bit scabby !

Whats an air box mod ? Ive heard of such a thing but can't find any info..

Definitely gonna go with the stealth black look and get an ebay fairing !

Now I'm being hassled to wrestle the turkey out of the oven... Time to crack open that new bottle of 15yr old Glenlivet, i think ;)
