    Christmas is over, bikes in the garage cos it's too icy to ride but there is a glow on the horizon"............. Our ferry sails in 151 days ready for practice week !! Anyone else booked yet ? image.jpg

    It's going to be a long hard winter so get them bike DVDs out .

    I'm booked on for the Manx GP again next year. I really fancy going over for the TT though, maybe 2016.

    Yep, I booked ferry and homestay in June ,race week. Hope I can walk ok by then though!

    I have never been but would love too... My 6.5 year old son wants to go over and watch it too after us watchin guy Martian on tv lol.

    I did look it up on the TT website and don't seem to cost much it's just sorting out ferris and hotel

    It's one of those things where you need to do it sooner rather than later things get booked up very quickly !

    Mate has a spare ferry and campsite ticket.
    Leaving 4/6 and back early sailing on 12/6. £240
    Campsite is St George's next to Grandstand £10/ night. (£80)

    I'm booked for this year and it will be my first time. Unfortunately not taking the bike but will take in what I can. Any advice for someone on foot much appreciated.

    If the drivers aren't on strike, the bus service on the island is excellent.
    So anywhere is possible, however coming out of governors bridge on to start finish is a great place to watch.
    And of course bray hill, the first time is breath taking how fast they go thru there.

    As Andy says buy a bus pass for duration can take tram up to snafelll and go up to laxey,best place I go for food and is away from strip is the terminus at Douglas next to tram stop get a few road racers in there had a cracking night last year in there with Clive Padgett and his crew ,md likes his curry in there .try and get to signpost corner and watch them coming down the bungalow there provides food and hot drinks and he has a mini museum in his conservatory for Martin bullock

    That is a good spot on the wall on opp side of paddock get up close to riders before the horn for 15 to go

    It's a 02:15 sailing on the 4th from Heysham and a 07:30 sailing back to Heysham on the 12th.
    Be about 7 others, with bikes ranging from blades, a Desmo, RSV4, R1, etc.

    We're on the same boat back, or at least the van is. We are also booked with the bikes on the later ferry to Liverpool. Not sure how we are going to work this yet!!

    Again, the same return as we have. Unfortunately this means missing the Senior so we also booked our bikes (and ourselves, obviously) on the later boat in the evening.
    Hopefully when the unsold places become available again (on 9th March I think) we can get something sorted.
