    Seems a lot of folk are not out on the lash tonight?

    I'm still suffering with this throat/chest infection which sends me in to horrendous coughing fits if I try and talk for more than a few sentences so bailed out of a night out tonight.


    What's you excuse? :eek:

    2 kids and living in the middle of nowhere. Beer, videos, popcorn, doritos and the firework display on telly.

    Same as chesty cough not feeling great mrs W not happy so has gone to brothers party without me , who cares tucked up in bed just need a chill out as I work in retail and I'm done in.....

    Had a bad throat and chest since Boxing day and it is still with me.

    I may just try a medicinal JD before bed, which will probably be in about an hours time. Life in the fast lane eh, living it LARGE.

    Never bother at all...it's all a bit pointless really, it's only another day like any other..same as Xmas...just another commercial excuse by the retail trade and media hype...

    That was from when we were Gypo's for a few years and lived in a Static Caravan in our driveway whilst we built a house!

    Chest and throat infection since the weekend before Xmas, plus been DIYing all week (not a good combination), so I'm feeling somewhat broken.


    Who am I kidding. I fecking hate New Years eve. I avoid it where ever possible.
