Took my bike to fit the Bazzaz Z-Fi and get set up on the dyno on Saturday. Now the bike is full Euro spec and I'm happy with the performance and money spent on the upgrades. The guys at Raceline Superbike Studio (in Bangkok) did a great job. The bike was on the dyno for 3 hours plus. He set me up 2 maps. Map 1 peaks at 161 bhp, which I'm very happy with compared to the original Japanese spec. Ive put about 1200 pounds into this bike on performance upgrades to make it Euro spec. Its made me about 50 bhp over standard Japanese spec. So great value for pounds per hp. Enjoy the pics and video. Please feel free to comment. Now I know how to convert the Jap spec to Euro spec I will get around to makingg a complete post with all the details so other members can benefit from it.
Scooby. We couldn't work out what was causing the blip at 7000 rpm. You certainly cant feel it when riding the bike, so we didn't worry about it. The tuner thought it was the dyno sensor as it didn't show up on every run. (The print out is now, shows the 2 maps in the Bazzaz).
Lithium Ion race battery arrived today , Very very light , does not feel there is much inside it . Lol ! The standard battery feels Bloody heavy now !
Well with martins help I worked some more on the bike and fitted the side fairings to get a feel what the bike will look like finished! Can't wait for the replacement side fairings and get out on her now
They missed an important bracket off the front that stops them pulling apart in the wind when riding, no problem as they are replacing thanks to Steve at conquest
Got around to fitting me my LED H7s Nearly got the Akrapovic fitted, just need to adjust the foot peg Gold pegs And watched TV with my new Corsa on
Actually its not illegal if you have the white sidelights . Otherwise all the truck drivers with their 100 blue leds would be pulled over. I am very keen to improve my visability to cars drivers and they do notice the blue colour.
After postie finally turning up with something worth while yesterday, and today being the perfect day for doing nothing apart from hiding in the man cave, i got stuck in... All pair valve and flapper bits taken off, blanked and tidied... Freshly cleaned and oiled K&N's Air box etc refitted... (just hope my bell mouths are on the right way, as they've been off a while and I've forgotten which way they went) ! Heat Shield, painstakingly cut out and stuck to the whole underside of the tail unit ready for the silencers to go on tomorrow ! Hope HM are open tomorrow as i want to get booked in for a Bazzaz
finally cut my belly pan after getting the new exhaust on a few months back. A little trimming required as the headers are a larger OD and different position to the OEM ones. Also decided to strip the front forks as the right fork leg decided to spring a wee leak in the last few months.. new dust / oil seals ordered
