The price is worth it to ride the GP track but some will struggle to pass 101db I know I will and wouldn't risk it myself I think we do need to keep it fair to the lads down saaaarth how about Snetterton that's 2 hours approx from the Del Boys and a brilliant track took me about 4.5hrs towing so a fair drive. Not bothered myself about accommodation as I have a caravan now.
Not overly bothered about the money side myself, just thinking of others? There's plenty who'll not pay the £155 Oulton charge mid summer so just trying to be fair that's all. Andy has a good point too about June 4th being in TT Fortnight! Can't have a Forum get together without Andy & Maz can we? More importantly there's the re-match between Andy & Matt to witness!
Why restrict ourselves to just one or two forum meets, why not do, Brands, Snett, Silverstone, Donny and Oulton. I for one loved Silverstone and will definitely do it again even if I'm the only one representing the forum
Snett will do a double header inc an open pit lane day mid summerish. It's usually for £150 for both days. You can camp on site or there are plenty of B&B's near the circuit. Iv done these 2 days loads of times and it's really worth it. You get a fantastic amount of track time. Cadwell do the same thing too.
Boys, 4th June won't be only day and might not all be 101db. Lets see what comes up. I get that trying to cater for all is the best way, but brands gp on another day suits plenty that's all
rather than a make a descion in a day as to what tracks, why not stick a vote/poll on there and give people chance to see the thread and decide. northern day I'm fine as long as it's mid week, southern, again as long as it's mid week.
From memory far too expensive for many folk as prices through the roof due to limited number of track days after a local moved next door to a race circuit and didn't like the noise of it in use (or something like that)
You homos! This monkey just drove down to the men of Kent for a pint! Sure you lot can manage a track day
things have thankfully changed there now, theres alot more days available, but still very limited numbers per group (25) this is what makes it expensive.but, croft is a fantastic track and would definatley be on my list of tracks to do (if i hadn't already done it once or twice ) it could be a good option for the scotish crew,i'd definatley be there for it,one of my favourite tracks, even though it is a little roiugh around the edges
Knockhill brilliant brilliant track loved it was doing 54 s round there me and tyke first time there but if dates suit I'll be there on one of my bikes any track
Ye, he turned up without an invite when Steve, Will, Gary and myself met up for some food in Preston on the 30th Jan
