    I'm sure when we went for that meal in Preston he said that we could have a ride on it when he collected it ;)

    Yamaha UK offered me one for free as long as i put my MadMatt logo on it, i turned them down, just to slow....

    Ye, Will's been allocated one of the 87 R1M's thats coming to the UK and he said that basically it was 'pot luck' if you got picked from the applicants.

    Obviously there will be some that are allocated to 'special people' (like Matt).

    The ones that are advertised for sale are likely people who got lucky and have now realised that they can sell it for £5000 more than it's book price.

    well the 2 i know who got them wasn't through "pot luck".

    still like to see where these are for sale as non have been delivered yet.

    Someone posted a pic of an advert (dealer's ad on 06/01) on another forum, but I can't link to ebay from this PC but I've copied his screenshot across.
    P.S. I am aware of the slim chance of one actually being available, but interesting that some dealers are still advertinsing them.

    mmm,thats not an actuall advert,thats a "finder" seller.links to yam chorley.as far as i'm aware and i did check a bit back,they have all been allocated now.

    That's an advert to 'get your order in now limited availability on this all new 2015 model r1m'.

    Doesn't mean you'll get one as the limited availability has all gone.

    Kev Coughlan has announced today that he has signed up to ride the new R1 with French-based MRS Racing in the World Superstock1000 championship. No wonder he is saying it is good.....

    With the amount of money you've spent on the ZX10 you could just have bought one of these and put track fairing on it ;)

    My mate got the email the other day from Yamaha UK informing him he would not be getting an R1M due to very high demand with no indication of when more would be available. I put a deposit down on a standard one and have been told it will be available at my dealer in March to test ride. If I don't gel with it they will give me my deposit back no quibbles. Very excited to ride it as looking at the changes and having ridden the old big bang a lot I can only imagine this new R1 will be a very impressive bike.

    They are also offering a few more upgrades from the M model on the standard I believe :)
