Just sitting down to watch this, don't know a great deal other than him being only man to win world titles on two and four wheels, which is enough to get max respect from me.

Although did see the coverage of when his grand son died in F2 and rember thinking the bloke (even at his age) dealt with it amazing composure and dignity, and seemed just so proud of the lad, that he was living his own dream.

So it'll be interesting to learn more from what I can tell is an impressive dude.

    Motha fcuking sky!!!

Not only has the over run darts recorded over racing legends.... The snooker has fooked the Dakar!!

Not a happy boy. Surely this can be avoided on sky plus??

Wow what a legend!! Proper class act...

7 world titles on a bike, F1 champion against incredible names, bumping bikes in the pit lane at 80 years old. And quite possibly the best man cave I've ever seen.

And it was his son, not grandson, amazing stuff.

Thought Paul Hollywood was great too, really done it justice.

It's refreshing to have what appears to be a real fan telling the story. No more than the great man deserves.

Great program and nice to see a proper fan interview him, still the only person to have won world championships in both f1 and motogp

More TV like this, celebrating Human achievements rather than all the doom and gloom were force fed!

Watched this last night. What a wonderfull man Surtees is. His composure and grace in the way he has delt with the loss of his son and the funding for the helicopters in his name should be admired . His skills on and off the bike and in and out the car are like a hollywood script (see what i did i made a punn yey me) .Loved seeing him ride round his place on his first race bike and what a cool soundtrack the bikes made .Old cake eater Hollywoood came across as a good guy who was rightly in awe of the great man i have changed my view about him. Now own up how many of us looked at Surtees garage remembered he has no son and wondered about adoption.......................

He stumbled climbing of his bike at Goodwood once and stood on my foot. As I grabbed him and stopped him going completely over, he looked up at me with his goggles askew and said:

"Terribly sorry, old boy. Are you okay?"
