Just looking at the pics of the 04 - 07 blades and they all fab. Considering they all have after market exhausts I feel it time to consider the same. So thought I'd ask and see if a clear winner emerges
Yoshimura Exhaust RS-5 Slip-On Stainless Honda CBR1000RR 2004-2007 1200275 | eBay that is in my opinion the best looking exhaust I have a full titanium Arrow race system fitted to my 06 Fireblade. it is not the best looking exhaust but it sounds nice (loud) and is very light.
I have a jardine I think it looks better than most as it doesn't stick out past the light as most seem too Sound wise the best I think is the scorpion
Nice ... I like the yoshimuru. So in buying a can, I should consider the type of sound, how loud it is, baffle or no baffle, weight and looks? I think also baffle for db for track days ??
Laser deeptone, sounds ace, looks mint. Sticks out a bit thohttp://i544.photobucket.com/albums/hh331/stumoores/2EFE1406-E393-41CE-A753-9011BC7724FC_zpsy8bfklvh.jpg
I have fitted Mivv X Cones... I like the look of the twin pipes and looks fairly GP. They sound positively evil, and with the baffles removed i don't think you could get louder !
Just to complete and ensure EVERY POSSIBLE option is thrown your way, I have the Akrapovic hexagonal titanium end can fitted: Sound amazing with the baffle out, but only a tad louder than stock with the baffle in.
Oh yes, love the twin pipes. Blackness the video is really helpful, sounds lovely. I am not particulaly after "loud" but a positively evil growl. How much are the Mivv X, is that an end can or full system?
Honda CBR600RR 05 06 MIVV x Cone Plus Pair Slip on Exhausts Promo Deal in Stock | eBay Wonder why this is quoted in dollars when they say item is in UK. Is it a good price?
Its about what i paid for mine ! Got mine from ebay too but it was an italian company that i dealt with ! You might want to get funky with some self adhesive heat barrier, as you'll be removing the original heat shield dude !
Do what my mate did and just go with the akropovic full titanium evo race system. sounds awsome and saves quite abit of weight too.
I run an Akrapovic full titanium race system on my track bike. Doesn't look particularly pretty but the weight saving was huge and it's quiet. Never a problem meeting noise levels on a trackday, it makes 98-99db. It doesn't have provision for a baffle as it doesn't need one. Racefit's are very good but I see that many guys on trackdays trying to make the noise level regs.......just couldn't be bothered with the hassle! As far as my road bike is concerned (08) it doesn't need one, power gains are negligible and they just attract the law.......again, don't need the hassle.
