Wow! Just went for a spin after connecting the brake light switch and what a difference!! I'll be interested to see if it's much better again when the M4 calipers I ordered turn up.

A set-up I'm also looking to fit, let us know what the change is with M4 Calipers.

Will do when I actually get the damn things. Getting screwed around by an Ebayer quite badly!

At the same time? You set your 19RCS to 18 or 20? Mine is 20 and feels great to me although just local streets speed as I just went a ride around my flat.

I have mine set up at 20, makes a huge difference compared to the standard master cylinder.

What is the thread pitch required for a banjo bolt to fit the Brembo M4 Calipier ?

Realised I needed a different banjo bolt when I fitted my Brembo Radial master cylinder yesterday (the precursor to the RCS) and realised the threads on the standard R6 brembo MC are different to the ones on the aftermarket. It came with a single banjo bolt but it requires a double for the R6.

I know the pitch for the Brembo RCS MC is 1:0mm but not sure of the pitch for Brembo Calipier Banjo is it 1:0mm or 1:25mm?

M10X1.00mm, if you're running a single banjo make sure the threaded length is about 10mm ie you need a shorter bolt.

Yep the HEL bolts seem a bit shorter and worked for me fine.

Response from HEL when I emailed them:

"Our brake lines use a thinner banjo to most other brands, so normally the bolt that is supplied with the RC master cylinders are too long."

Them race bolts are far nicer than the one I got but as long as it does the job.

If you have been following this thread you will know by now there are issues with fitting Brembo MC, Hel brake Lines & Ti double banjo bolts! Having installed the fore mentioned, here's what I discovered.
Hel Banjos are 1.2mm slimmer in thickness than oem
Race bolt double banjo bolt is (11.2mm) 1.2mm longer than Brembo supplied Banjo

So all in all going for a Race double hose set up using the above, you need to make up approx 3.6mm (2 x 1.2 hel banjos & 1.2 Race bolt Double Banjo). 1mm copper crush washers are no good!

Ordered a set of 10 off 2mm copper crush washers from BGC Motorsports (late Friday & got them Sat Morning excellent service).

Installed everything, filled & bleed system and it leaked at double banjo joint! On further inspection I had fitted 2 x 2mm & 1 x 1mm washers Doh! Drain down exchange 1mm washer for a 2mm, fill & bleed jobs done!

Moral of this story is "Brembo MC, Hel Brake Lines, & Race Bolt double banjo bolt = 2mm Copper Crush washers!

That's why I went for the HEL banjos but they are stainless. They fit perfect with the washers they come with.

Those titanium bolts do look nice though :)

I have a brembo RCS on one of my bikes and its an amazing bit of kit I would highly recommend.

I fancy fitting one to my other bike which has abs and have read this can be a problem. I'm told the larger 19mm bore master cylinder is too powerful for the abs and over comes the abs when activated.

Anybody installed an RCS mc on an abs bike and have and feedback ?

I've got one for Danny's SP to be fitted in the coming weeks. We went for the RCS17 after Arthur calculated the 19 would feel too 'wooden' in feel. The SP is an ABS model..

I had it fitted to my bike mate with no issues.
