With the abs removed are you putting in a non abs battery tray and smaller battery?

Won't be putting in a smaller battery. Better cranking power then, rather than the wheeze you normally get when starting the bike.

With all that gubbins removed you'll have room for your power commander, tracker and a packet of sandwiches :D

By the time you take the ECU, loom, pumps, power units and bracketry off the bike I can vouch for that.

The difference is his brakes now work a treat!

He can almost fit a helmet in under the rider seat there is that much room in there with all the gubbins gone!

Canny wait till the warmer weather to get a shot on it now I know the lever won't come to the bar on me again!!! ;)
Gimme the keys.........gimme the keys!!! :D

    Hi Col,
Is the abs light on the dash now permanently illuminated, or does removing the abs ecu negate that?

From the wiring diagram the ECU looks to feed the power down 1 wire to the light on the dash so with the ECU removed should mean no power to illuminate the light! :)

But will need to see what the bike does when fired up, and what the ecu normally would do with the wire to dash.
