Springfields Bike Show Anyone going to the Springfields Motorbike show this year? Every year I promise myself, I will not go because its just not very good, and yet I drive over pay to get in and within a stretched 15 minute I'm ready to leave. Its like going to Skeggy, you think its going to get better but it just doesn't. The car park is grass/mud and my car gets filthy, the drive there and back is full of variable speed cameras and the wife makes me go into the shopping centre next door when I've finished at the show. It is also noteworthy that every previous year you can download a money off voucher reducing the entrance from £7 to £5 but not this year, perhaps they think they don't need that incentive any more? Sorry I'm ranting, rant over. I know, I'm a miserable sod. I'm not going, no I'm not, I'm definitely not going this year.
Are you having probs with the GS rebuild Carl ??? how is that going by the way....... ? And thanks for the show info.............Im not going now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Rob The GS is going ok thanks, it's been two years now but then I only potter when I feel like it, I've had problems wih some parts, the G model is fine, two a penny but the GG is hard to find for, as soon as I can get my hands on an exhaust I'll be working towards starting it up. I've spent twice what the bike ever going to be worth but I enjoy the process. Thanks for remembering
If I wasn't full of man flu I might have not gone tomorrow, but as I am, I defiantly wont be going. I would be grateful if you would let me know what I didn't miss Carl.
You know you want to Carl......bikes you are not that interested in, wife spending a fortune in the shops, a less than average lunch at F&B's, the late afternoon spent washing the mud off your car and a speeding ticket in the post what's not to like. If I was wasn't feeling so crap I would meet you there, if for no other then reason, than it would be nice for the four of us to have a catch up. Still spring is just round the corner and our bikes will be back out on the road.
