Only discovered whilst reading Guy Martin's book that Metzeler are owned by Pirelli. Was somewhat surprised, or was it common knowledge? Metzeler - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was told that when I was given some RR7's by the perelli PR guy. Just a shame I was given them at the end of the season as I'm going to give a good right up on them when used on the road and track
Carcasses are from same mouldings with a different tread pattern and branding. Always thought this was common knowledge!
thouht was a myth actually. thought they woukdnt be as good as would to much competition. supercorsas felt better lol , (il start that argument )
Yes, but then I did work for them so was given the company history They also used to make wellies and computers.
no I think the slicks are different talking to parkitt the other day... plus two types of slicks remember.
I thought everyone knew that? Clearly not I buy Dunlop though these days Do they have any under another name?
Parkitt are liquidating some 212's if you're interested? When I was there collecting my new leathers last week they mentioned about clearing them at cost. parkittracing2012 | eBay

Not used pirelli the last 2 years but before that the supercorsa and racetec was the exact same tyre. You could mix front and rear. Thought you still could- Id be surprised if you couldnt.
