Looks are not important. Get leathers that fit you properly should be your priority!

Scott Repsol leathers - if you can find any. Here's mine that I got from someone on these very forums:

Have you seen janman Repsol leathers ?, about $750, seem to have a good review on the US fireblade forum, but I don't know much more about them.

Go down to your local store and try a few on and see what fits better. Try one piece and two piece to see what you like best.

I ended up going for a two piece Dainese suit as that seemed to fit me better than the AlpineStars or Arleness gear that the shop had. I've also crashed in it and it seems to have held up well in the fall. I've had it 4 years now and i think in the summer i'll maybe go for a 1 piece suit next time. Local store is starting to get stock of Spidi and Revit gear that seem good value.

Alternatively if you can afford it, you can go down the route of made to measure suits. Scott, Held, IXON to name but a few will all be happy to help you out.

Try before you buy mate ! Ive got the M6 carbon.. Lovely looking helmet and super light but i think i will be going back to Arai as a few things about it I'm not entirely happy about ! The M5 is close to the face and doesn't fit everyone too great either..

Yeah, I always try to do that now. Made the mistake of getting a Shark lid without trying it once, that was too big. I assumed that sizing would have been the same as my previous Shark lid. Sadly not...
