Has any one removed the cat from a standard set of header pipes from a rr5,
i have a guy could cut it out and make a link pipe
it will definitely let the engine breath better and give a better power output
id be interested to know if any one has gone down this road before. the headers are quite small diameter wise compared to an aftermarket race pipe but id like to try and work with what i have and modify it to get the most out of it.

    brilliant stuff
you know what i didnt even think oof just hammering it out, i was for cutting ot off below the cat and making a new bit of pipe to insert in its place, but this looks far more handier
    cheers,

did you ever dyno the bike to see what improvements it made ?

I've read that the cat is fairly unrestrictive and the gains are minimal, saying that I've just removed my standard headers. :)
