Just had a peep at the Bentley Sports ad at the top of the forum page. 621 BHP and 0-60 in 3.7 secs seems to be in the £150k Bracket Thats a lot of blades for the wonga and similar performance .

Give me the blade any day. Nothing like a bike for kicks. Don't get me wrong I like my cars aswell but they don't give u anywhere near the buzz or freedom a bike does.

I'd just like to be in the position to make the choice.

Haha..my M3 done that 0-60 time, well 3.8 :) and was 14k.. thats not a quick time for 621bhp as the beemer was 350bhp or there abouts, lovely car though that bentley but a heavy ass motor..

as already said no car gives you the feeling of a bike..fact

    Bike vs car hhhmmmmmm?

I'll put it this way. If it came to me having to get rid of 1 or the other it'd be the car. I'd keep the bike, sell the car and buy a banger to get to work and back.

The bike is only for fun to me. I work too hard to go without a bike in my life. It's the only time I truly forget everything.

To be completly honest, the car wins. I love the bike for the buzz it gives when you can open it up. But when the weather is doing its best of British I do enjoy sitting in the warmth of my car. Respect to those who ride all year round with no car.

for the performance you get from a 12k bike you need to spend a lot of cash to get the same from a car. Bike win's hands down. Saying that I get so much enjoyment from my kit car on road and track that it's a cheap way to get some fun. Approx 12k spent on the kit car. but since I built it's had uprated brakes, new bigger engine, track tyres and alloys etc....

Love my cars but for the buzz and price again, bike wins

I rode all year round for 4 years but with a new job and my shifts getting into the midnight area i have purchased a '' cheap '' car for those days when the ice, snow and rain just make it a pain to use the bike, i have enjoyed riding all year round but it just plain stupid to be riding home at just after midnight in the middle of Dec or Jan when the temp is -4, my life is worth more. That said, i will never sell the bike, and when the winter ends and the rain stops turning up ever day or so, i will be using the bike to get to work again.

I can not imagine any reasonably priced car could give you the buzz that even an average bike can do, i try to explain the feeling of speed and freedom to non bikers but it's just impossible, like trying to explain what the oceans look and feel like to swim in to a land locked people !!

When you finish work there is nothing that beats going home on a bike.Spend an hour on a bike you feel exhilarated, spend an hour in the car and you wanna get home.
